Effective April 10, 2015, Phyta-Grow Kickstart 6-1-2 has been approved for use in organic crop production by the California Department of Food & Agriculture Organic Input Materials program. The CDFA OIM program is an ISO accredited material evaluation program reviewing products for compliance with NOP regulations.

All COFI liquid Nitrogen products have passed inspection by OMRI and are considered in compliance with NOP rules.
COFI has recieved notices of approval on almost all products submitted to CDFA for OIM (Organic Material Input) registration. All COFI products submitted should be approved by December 31, 2011.
CDFA has notified all manufacturers that it is illegal to sell
an unregistered OIM after January 1, 2012.
COFI has decided to discontinue manufacturing a number of products. The products discontinued were and are in compliance with NOP rules. They may be used in organic production except COFI highly suggests that you get approval from your certifing agency.
Below are some of the reasons for discontinuance.
1. No, or Poor availability of raw ingredients
2. Low sales volume of product
3. Reduction of registration fees
